What to have some fun?
The first meeting of Northwood’s Ecology Club will be held Wednesday October 5 from 6-7 p.m. in the Art Room. The club is open to students in 2-5th grade who are interested in helping Northwood be green and learning more about what they can do to be more environmentally friendly. Contact Julie Race at email@example.com with any questions.
We will be doing fun projects to learn more about ecology, our environment and how you can make a difference. The club will meet once or twice a month after school and is open to 2-5 graders.
Last year the club:
Collected used blankets and towels for the Royal Oak Animal Shelter
Worked on Northwood’s Michigan Native Garden
Visited Royal Oak’s Community Farm
Had a display for Eco Night about Michigan Made Products
Made Eco Club T-shirts
