Reflections is a PTA program open to all Northwood students k-5 that encourages kids to make art. This year’s theme is “Let your Imagination Fly”. Your student may choreograph a dance, write a story, take a photo, create a film, compose music, or create a piece of visual art in any media. There are rules for each category and they are on the PTA page. This year the PTA is hosting two workshop dates that will allow students the opportunity to have supplies available to create a piece after school. There will also be helpers to clean up the mess and make sure all the rules are followed. We will also have all the forms available at the workshop. This is to make it easy for the parents, and the kids will have a blast. All you have to do is sign up your child for one of the workshop dates. They will be in the Art room after school until 5:00. The two dates are Nov.13th and Nov. 20th. Parents or an adult on the approved pick up list must bring your child back into the school through door #2 and then sign them in to the Art room. At 5:00 students will be released to parents or their approved adult at door #3. We will meet you at that door. Students are still free to do reflections on their own if they which. Work must be turned into the office with paper work by Friday December 4th at 3:30pm. Save the date, we will have a reception to show case all the work on December 10th at 6:00pm.
