Grounds Committee Update

November 10, 2011 by Northwood News Leave a Comment

Thanks to all of you for keeping up your gardens this past summer and fall. With the weather changing, the beds should now be ready for winter. There are a few beds that are still in dire need of weeding one last time, including my own. Please try and fit this in over the next week if possible, I hear snow is on the way. Also, we were unable to get the wood chips down before winter for several red-tape reasons but our plan is to have it done in early spring so we can start next year’s growing season ahead of those nasty weeds . Also, Pat Grimes will be sending an email regarding a garden fundraising committee to help raise money for future garden projects. Please look for her email in the next few weeks.

If you would like additional information regarding the Grounds Committee and how you could help or adopt a garden, please fill out the form below.
