The 4th Annual Northwood Elementary School Fun Run
Tuesday April 17, 2012!!!!
IMPORTANT DATES
March 30th: Kick of assembly with the Detroit Tiger’s Mascot, Paws!
April 2nd-6th: Spring Break- don’t forget to start collecting pledges from friends and family (we will have a special drawing on Monday 4/9).
April 9th: Turn in your pledges, all qualifying ($50) pledges turned in today will be entered in a drawing to win 2 tickets to a Detroit Tiger’s Game!!!
April 10th-13th: Turn in Pledges!! We will hold two more drawings during these for days for qualifying ($50) pledges. The prize is a surprise!!!
April 16th: Deadline to turn in money to qualify for ANY top seller prize and key chain.
April 17th: FUN RUN!!!
April 20th: Top Pledge Winner Announced/Top Grade Pledge Winners Announced.
April 24th: Final day to hand in pledges.
April 30th: All auction winners and lunch with Mrs. Ashburn winners notified AND The kids will find out if they get to turn Mrs. Ashburn into a HUMAN SUNDAE!!!
REWARDS
*Overall pledge earner wins an IPod Touch.
*The top earners in each GRADE win 2 tickets to an upcoming Detroit Tiger’s Game.
*The TOP THREE CLASSROOMS will win a class room prize.
*Any CLASSROOM that reaches their group goal gets to choose their own playground/recess pack.
*If the SCHOOL GOAL of $19,000.00 is reached, our principal, Mrs. Ashburn, will be turned into a human sundae by a few chosen students during a school-wide assembly.
*EACH CHILD will receive a prize pack from Beaumont Hospital’s Healthy Schools Program.
*Those children that reach their $50 pledge goal will receive a Running Shoe Key Chain AND if they turn their $50 in on April 9th they will have a chance to win 2 TIGER TICKETS.
*Those children that reach their $50 pledge goal will have their name entered into a drawing to win an additional prize (gift cards and movie tickets are examples).
*Once the $50 pledge point is reached, that child’s name will be entered into that drawing again with each additional $25 in pledges.
*EACH CHILD that hands in a donation (IN ANY AMOUNT) will have their name entered in a drawing to have lunch with Mrs. Ashburn.
