Northwood Elementary PTA: 2026-2027 Welcome!
Hello Northwood Families,
Welcome to a new school year! I’m so excited to introduce myself as the Northwood Elementary PTA President for this year.
For those I haven’t had the chance to meet yet, I’m Eileen Giudice, and I'm mom to two boys: Orion, who will be in second grade, and Koda, who will be in preschool. I’m honored to serve as PTA President this year and am looking forward to working alongside all of you to make this a fun, memorable, and rewarding year for our students, teachers, and families.
One of the things I love most about the PTA is that there’s a place for everyone. Whether you have lots of time to volunteer, can help with one event, have an idea you’d love to see happen, or simply want to stay connected to what’s happening at school, we want you to be part of it! Our PTA is only as strong as the community behind it, and I’m excited about what we can accomplish together.
As we head into the school year, I wanted to share some upcoming planning & organization information:
Budget Meeting: Our Treasurer Allison will be leading the 2026-2027 Budget meeting on Monday, August 24th at 6:30 pm at Cantaritos in Royal Oak. All PTA members are welcome to join!
Monthly PTA Meetings: We meet the second Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. The first meeting will be Monday, September 14th at 7:00 pm in the Cafeteria. Please bring friends! :)
Open Positions: We have a few open positions for the year including Bylaws, Cultural Arts Assemblies, Restaurant Nights, Rewards and more. If you or anyone you know is interested in taking on a role, please reach out to Courtney (ccucco24@gmail.com).
PTA Registration for 2026-2027: In order to stay an active member, you must register for the PTA every school year and pay annual dues. Link here to register. Please encourage your friends & family to join the PTA as well! Members can be as active or little as they can commit, and joining alone helps support all the events & activities we offer!
Be sure to keep an eye out for PTA emails throughout the year, including our first PTA newsletter that will share information about early fall events, school reminders, PTA activity and more. We’ll use these communications to share upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, ways to get involved, and other important information.
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you'd like to bring forth in the first meeting--or at any point--please don't hesitate to reach out! My goal is to continue building on the wonderful contributions our PTA has made, together with all your partnership.
