Interested in being a Room Parent?
We need you!
Our wonderful homeroom parents help our teachers with class parties, communication with our parents and purchasing surprises and gifts for our amazing teachers throughout the year. It's easy and a great way to get involved! Please sign up here to volunteer.
All volunteers must have a cleared background check. To submit your volunteer form, please follow the directions on the form and return to the office asap. This process can take 1-2 weeks to complete.
Our homeroom parents (we like to have two per classroom if possible) will be selected and notified by September 19th and will receive more information and training once selected. If you have questions, reach out to Barb brozman01@gmail.com. Thank you for your support of our staff and students!
Northwood Family Fun at DCFC 10/4
Northwood is heading to Keyworth Stadium on 10/4 @ 4pm to cheer on the Detroit City FC and hang out with fellow Northwood families! Hope to see you all there - invite your friends and family!
Fun Run is Coming 10/17!
🎉Calling All Northwood Parents & Local Businesses! 🎉
We’re gearing up for our Annual Fun Run on October 17 — Northwood’s only fundraiser of the year — and we need your help to make it a success!
Parent Volunteers Needed!
Join our planning team to help organize this exciting event. Whether you can lend a hand with logistics, sponsorships, decorations, or day-of activities, we’d love to have you on board!
Are you a business owner?
Support our school by donating goods, services, or sponsorships! It’s a great way to give back and promote your business to our amazing Northwood community.
If you're a parent or guardian who owns a business big or small this is a perfect opportunity to get your business name out here to our school community while giving back to Northwood! Another perk is if you donate $100 or more your business would be added to the banner that hangs on the south playground fence. If $300 or more you would be on the banner and also get lawn signs placed on field as well.
The Fun Run raises money for our school initiatives such as playground equipment (recently updated by past Fun Run earnings), field trips, library resources, extra classroom budget for our teachers, etc. It's a way to give back to our kids and school community!
